From Anawim, providing a loving home for abandoned elderly, and Grace to be Born, offering shelter to pregnant women in crisis, to Jeremiah Girls, a safe haven for young survivors of abuse, their reach is extensive. Together, these ministries embody unwavering compassion, dedicated to uplifting and serving some of the most vulnerable members of our Filipino communities.

The Challenge: Deepening Donor Connections Amidst Data Disarray

When The Feast Mercy Ministries partnered with us in 2021, they faced a common yet critical hurdle for many non-profits: effectively managing and understanding their donor data.

While blessed with generous support, they lacked a streamlined system for handling this information. This made it difficult to segment donors accurately, identify patterns in giving (like consistent versus potentially lapsing supporters), and tailor their communications to foster truly authentic connections beyond general appeals.

Crucially, developing and launching a complex new donor management portal was not a viable option due to their existing internal setup and understandable budget limitations – a familiar reality for many hardworking charitable organizations in the Philippines.

It was both a privilege and a pleasure partnering with Gretchen Veran of Get Smarter and Better (GSB) during our KLIK Mobile Education (KLIKme) Pilot Program in 2023-2025. As KLIKme serves out-of-school youth and adults in 9 partner-communities in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, guiding our learners to successfully complete the DepEd ALS Program is only an interim goal. They need to start earning soonest. So we were delighted to discover GSB! Through the 12-session online course on Digital Marketing that Gretchen designed for KLIKme, over 50 of our learners gained immediate practice with tools they could apply to their own products and services or offer to potential clients. Beyond providing skills training, however, Gretchen's sessions offered our learners a lot more. Each weeknight class provided fun interaction, a helpful sounding board for questions, and genuinely personal concern and encouragement in an area that was surely intimidating to former HS dropouts who never dreamed they could use their gadgets to create something useful -- and possibly earn from it!
